The purpose of the Pender PTO is to support the education of children in the Pender Public Schools by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers.

We’re the leading advocate for those affected by our cause. You can count on our organization to ensure your voice is heard. It’s with your help that we can make a difference.

We’re always looking for fun and meaningful ways to give back and provide additional materials to benefit our school staff and students. Additionally, creating platforms and opportunities for memories to be shared among our community is what we strive for. 

With our community's incredible support, the Pender PTO has donated to: 

• Voice Amplifiers during the challenges of Covid-19 

• The Pendragon mascot, Spitfire. 

• Appreciation gifts for students, faculty and staff throughout the year.

• Snack cart delivery for teacher in-service during American Education Week.

• Pender Pride t-shirts for the entire school staff. 

• Vouchers for treats on Back to School Open House Night.

• $500 in scholarships every year. 

• Hosting an elementary Spring Formal. 

• A new book for every elementary student and/or each elementary classroom's library for

• Read Across America Day. 

• Pendragon t-shirts for graduating preschoolers. 

• Kids Zone holiday shopping extravaganza. 

• Popsicle treats at the elementary track meet. 

• Playground accessories (balls, games and sports accessories, sidewalk chalk, legos and games for indoor recess, etc.) 

• Winter Gear Drive.

• PPS’s Care Closet

• Teacher classroom wishlists.

• Additional microwaves in lunchroom for cold lunches.
